How To create a DSA account

 

GENERAL

  1.  From the home page of the app select the me tab from the bottom menu
  2.  Select My Profile/My Account. Under the General tap complete all of the fields
  3.  Profile Photo: this is where you add a profile picture from file or take a new one
  4.  Username, DSA Number are already created.
  5.  High School Graduation Class year is where you enter the year you have or will graduate
  6.  Email This is where you enter your email address for people to contact you
  7.  Email display in profile card. If this box is checked your email will be made public on your Profile Card
  8.  Phone display in profile card. If this box is checked your phone number will be made public on your Profile Card
  9.  Name and address. This is where you enter Name and Address
  10.  Social Media Links. This where you add your social media links to your profile card
  11.  Delete This is where you can delete your DSA account.

 

PARENT

  1.   Add Spouse: This is where you can link your spouse’s profile card to your profile card in the family section. Enter spouses name and email and it will send them a verification email to link your accounts
  2. Add Child: This is where you can link your child or children’s account to yours. Select add child and create a DSA account for your child. If your child already has a DSA account select add existing child and enter the child’s DSA Number/id

 

COACH

  1.  Add Sports: This is where the coach can choose the type of sports that he coaches you can add as many as needed. Then choose the number of years you have been coaching that sport

 

MANAGER

  1.  This is where you manage and edit the teams you have created. You can change team profile or logo picture, Choose a new sponsor, add a coach to the team link team social media to the team profile card by selecting manage + by the teams name you wish to manage

ATHLETE

  1.  Athlete Photo: This is where you can choose the athlete profile card photo to display on your profile card.
  2.  Height: enter your height measurements
  3.  Weight: enter your weight measurements
  4.  Emergency Contact: this is where you enter the name and number of your emergency contact person.
  5.  Add Parents: This is where you can add your parents or guardians to your profile card in the family section of your profile card.
  6.  Preferred sports: this is where you add all of the sports that you Play or Participate

This is important because this will create the different sections in the sports section of your profile card where you will add photo’s and video’s for each sport.

 

 

    MY ATHLETE PROFILE CARD

  1.  How to add photos or video to my profile Card? You can add or delete photo’s or video’s to your profile card two different way’s. Go to My Profile card select the sport section you would like to add or delete the photo or video to and select the + or – and choose the photo from your photo’s and video. You can also Go to My Media/ Photo’s & Video’s from the main ME menu, select either My Photo’s or Video’s, Choose upload, choose the sport, enter the title, upload the photo, choose to have it displayed on your profile card by checking the box. If you already have photo’s or Video’s in your My Photo’s or video’s section you can just choose select video then select the photo and choose add to APC
  2.  Notification: This is where you can turn on and off the notification settings to receive alerts for messages, My Deck/Favorite and Schedule
  3.  My Stats: This is where you can view the stats from your teams. You can only view stats the coach or manager of the team are the only ones to import the stats.
  4.  How To Save A profile card to your My Deck/Favorites Profile Cards. Choose My Deck/Favorite Profile Card from the Me Menu, type the First or Last name, username, or email address into the search bar. Once you find the person you can choose to save them. To remove them just select remove.
  5.  How to add your Bio: Go to the profile card and scroll to the Bio section select + the pop up window where you can type or copy and paste your Bio in the window and save. To edit, follow the same steps and edit .
  6.  How to Add news links to your profile card. Select the + in the news link section of the profile card a pop up window will open so that you can type or copy and paste the url to the link and name the link.

 

       MY PARENT PROFILE CARD

  1.  How to add photos or video to my profile Card? You can add or delete photo’s or video’s to your profile card two different way’s. MY TEAMS

  1. How to add or join a team: Go to My Team from the bottom menu, Select add team then type the name of the team or the teams DSA number into the search field. Once you have found the team select the team. The  request to join team window will pop up, choose your role leave a comment to let the team manager or coach know who you are and your purpose for joining the team and submit the request. A email will be sent to the manager for approval. Once you have been approved the team icon will show up in the My Team Section of the app. The manager or coach must add you to the team by receiving the request to join team email. Once he receive the email you must click the add to team link which will take you to the login page of the website. Enter your DSA username and password and log in to activate the person to the team. You have to log in everytime after you click add to team in order for the user to be activated to the team.
  2. How to create a team: Go to My Team From the bottom menu, select create team fill out the form to create the team. All of the fields have to be filled out. It is very important to select or choose a sponsor you cannot create a team without choosing a sponsor from the list of available sponsor. If you have a coach or coaches whom already have a DSA account you can ad the coach to the team by typing his name or DSA number into the search bar under + coach. After completing the form select submit. The team icon will show up in the My Team Section of the app.
  3.  Club House Live: This is where you can live chat with the members of your team. You can posted scores, share photo’s, share video’s post comments to everyone who is a part of the team in real time. Select Club house live and type a message or post in the text box and post add pictures or video by selecting the camera icon.
  4.   TEAM SCHEDULE: This is the section where you can create calendar events to add to the team calendar. To Add a event, select team schedule, select the + at the top right hand corner. Add all of the information for the event by filling in all the fields of the event form and select save. The event will be added to the team calendar.
  5.  TEAM MESSAGES: This section is where you can send messages and communicate with members of your team. You can send group messages or a individual message. Select team message from the main team menu Then choose the recipient that you want to send the message to, choose from the Athlete, Parent, Coach or Others tab,  select the member type in the text box or add a photo or video and send the message. You can also select the gear icon at the top right hand corner of the team message page choose the group of recipients by checking the box that you want to send a message to, type in the text box and send the message. You can select one or multiple groups to send a message to.
  6.  TEAM PHOTO’S & VIDEO’S/TEAM MEDIA: In this section you can upload and download pictures to and from the team photo & video album: All video & photo uploaded to this album will be viewable by all members of the team. Once a photo has been uploaded you can select the photo, open it and then save it to your phone or email it, send in message or many other ways to save the video to other devices.
  7.  TEAM STATS: Here you can view the win/loss record of the team as well as the scores. You can also view the individual stats that the coach or the manager has inputted on the athletes. If you are the manager or have access to the manager account you can input stats for the team and individual athlete by Selecting the Add Game + and input the information. To add Stats to an Athlete Select Athlete in the menu on the team stats page, select the athlete, select the add Stats+ and input the information. The Stats will be automatically save to the athletes profile card for viewing as well as in the team stats section.

 

MY SCHEDULE

  1.  From “My Schedule” from the bottom main menu you can quickly get a look at all of your calendar events , games, and practices across all of your teams at once.
  2.  How to RSVP to a calendar event: Select and open the event,  scroll down to the going, maybe or not and choose the one that applies. To Check to see the availability of the other team members scroll down to the Members  availability and select it.
  3.  To commit to a volunteer Job just select the + sign next to the volunteer job and it will automatically add your name to the job. Do un commit to a job just select the   - sign next to the job you can un commit all the way until an hour before the event. You cannot edit or change inside of an hour before the event. There will be a red icon badge on the event list to let you know that there are task or volunteer jobs needing to be filled.
  4.  You can add the event to your iPhone  calendar or google calendar by selecting the add to calendar + button
  5.  When A new event is added to the calendar an alert will notify you if you have you notification setting turned on. Also there will be a green icon badge on the event list to let you know it is new

 

MY MESSAGES

  1. In this section you can view all of your message from all of your teams and individual members at once. The first tab is the list of your most recent messages the second tab is for all of your club house live messages and the third tab is a list of all of your contacts across all teams.
